Privacy Policy

This policy covers yaha.gul-e-rana.com and the YAHA program, run by Gul-e Rana. It explains what we collect, why, and what you can ask us to do about it.

What we collect

When you join the waitlist or sign up for emails: your email address, and your first name if you give it. Most of our list came from people sending us their email directly in Instagram DMs, so in many cases that is all we hold.

When you buy YAHA: your name and email address, and the details of what you bought. Payment is processed by Topmate. We never see or store your card number or bank details.

When you use the community: whatever you choose to put in your profile, and whatever you post.

When you visit the site: standard technical information such as your browser type, device type, approximate location by country, and which pages you viewed. This is collected by our hosting provider and analytics.

We do not ask for and do not want government ID numbers, financial account details, or health information. Please do not send them to us.

Why we use it

To give you access to what you bought and to run the program. To send you the emails you signed up for, and program updates if you are enrolled. To answer you when you contact us. To understand which content and pages are working, in aggregate. To meet our tax and accounting obligations.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your email address with other creators or with advertisers.

Who else handles your data

We use these services, and your information passes through them for the purposes described. Table with columns "Service" and "What it handles":

Each of these has its own privacy policy and processes data on its own terms. We choose providers we believe handle data responsibly, but we do not control their systems.

Email

You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the link at the bottom of any email. If you are enrolled in YAHA we will still send you the emails needed to run the program you paid for, such as access details and schedule changes.

We use standard open and click tracking in our emails so we know what is worth sending. If you would rather we did not, tell us and we will note it.

Cookies

The site uses cookies that are necessary for it to work, and analytics cookies that tell us how the site is being used in aggregate. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; parts of the site may not work properly if you do.

How long we keep things

We keep your email address until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. We keep purchase records for as long as tax and accounting rules require, which is generally several years and is not something we can shorten on request. Community content stays until you delete it or ask us to.

Your rights

Wherever you live, you can ask us to tell you what we hold about you, correct anything wrong, delete your information (except records we are legally required to keep), stop emailing you, or give you a copy of your data in a portable format.

Email yaha@gul-e-rana.com and we will respond within 30 days. We may need to confirm it is really you before we act.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR, the UK GDPR, the CCPA, or India's DPDP Act, and the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

Where your data goes

We are based in the United States, and our service providers operate in the United States and elsewhere. If you are outside the US, your information will be transferred to and processed there.

Children

YAHA is for adults. It is not directed at anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has given us their information, email us and we will delete it.

Changes and contact

If we change this policy materially we will post the new version here with an updated date.
